Summer Fun: The Beach

This design was created for the "It's So Easy" Summer Fun Nail Art Contest.

This goes to show that you should really read the entire rules sheet before you start designing. It wasn't until after I created this did I read that you are only allowed to submit 1 design on 1 fingertip. So, I was forced to choose one finger to submit. I decided, with much deliberation, to submit the middle finger. I really liked the beach ball, the birds and how the ocean and sand turned out.

The results of the contest won't be announced until October 15, though the winners will be contacted near the end of September. The first day of Autumn actually. First prize is $1000; second prize is $500; third prize is $250 and 20 lucky people get $25 Sally Beauty Gift cards. I'll keep you updated! Fingers crossed and wish me luck!!!
